Buyer's Guide: Rolex Datejust

Four versions of the iconic modern Rolex Datejust- which one is your favorite?

The Rolex Datejust was originally released in 1945. The movement was able to instantly change the date listed on the complication at midnight, which was a very novel feature back then. Newer models, released in the past few years, have been powered by the Caliber 3235 automatic movement, with new features such as a 70 hour power reserve, more efficient escapement, and thinner barrel walls.

The Datejusts come in a variety of case materials and dial colors, such as Oystersteel, yellow gold, white gold, and everose gold. Oystersteel models tend to be priced at under $10,000 MSRP, while models with Gold and Diamond can be priced well over $30,000. Do you prefer steel or two-tone?
