Watch Review: Safari Tuna

The Watch that Brings a Safari to You

Seiko Prospex “Safari Tuna” is a lesser-seen model from the famous line of Seiko “Tunas.” The name is derived from the tuna can shaped metal shroud that protects the watch’s case and bezel and the tan and brown hues of the dial, the colors you would expect to see on a Safari. Interestingly, only the first 20 minutes are for better readability while diving. The Safari model shown here uses a Japanese day display. The white text, or red text on Sunday, sits above a black background.
